A-ONE Logic Scope
Signal
Probe & LED Indicator Board for A-ONE Systems
The A-ONE
Logic Scope is a compact diagnostic tool designed for the A-ONE Apple-1
replica platform.
Developed
for retro-computing enthusiasts, makers, educators, and hardware debugging,
this board allows you to visually monitor digital signals in real time
using a row of 12 individual LED indicator lights and an included
external probe.
Key Features
- 12 individual LED indicator
lights (D0–D11)
Instantly shows the logic state and signal activity.
- Included external probe
Supplied with a probe lead for tracing signals on external circuits and
expansion boards.
- Separate HIGH / LOW status LEDs
Quickly indicates whether the measured signal is logic HIGH or LOW.
- Pulse counter / activity
monitor
Useful for checking clock pulses and signal transitions.
- Clear reset button
Resets the counter and LEDs during measurements.
- Direct 44-pin A-ONE bus
connection
Designed to plug directly into the A-ONE expansion slot.
- Fully assembled PCB
Professionally manufactured by RRU Products – made in the Netherlands
Perfect For
- debugging
expansion boards
- checking
address and data lines
- verifying
clock signals
- troubleshooting
custom hardware
- educational
demonstrations of digital logic
How It
Works
The A-ONE
Logic Scope plugs directly into the 44-pin A-ONE expansion bus and can monitor signal activity on the system using a probe.
The row of 12
LED indicator lights shows the logic states and pulse activity of the
monitored lines in real time, making it easy to verify whether signals are
switching correctly.
Using the included
external probe, you can also test individual points on expansion boards,
custom circuits, or signal lines outside the main bus.
The
separate HIGH and LOW LEDs provide immediate visual feedback of
the probed signal level, while the CLEAR button resets the pulse counter
for repeated measurements.
This makes
the board ideal for:
- checking
clock pulses
- debugging
data and address lines
- finding stuck HIGH or LOW
signals
- testing
custom hardware interfaces
- educational demonstrations of
digital logic principles
